A very unexpected find on Oxford street. Great welcoming atmosphere and very friendly staff. Food and drink cheaper and better than chain cafés. Would highly recommend!

A quiet oasis in the busy buzz of Oxford Circus, we had a lovely couple of slices of cake and soup and a sandwich, all of which were well made with friendly and quick service. Highly recommend.

This is a great little gem in that it offers low prices and calmness on a notoriously busy and expensive street. There is also live music on some days (maybe every day I’m not sure). Great find. Huge pastries too!

Fab spot for a coffee (less than £3 for an oat milk cappuccino!) near Oxford Circus. Excellent coffee, and friendly service. Hidden behind the small door off Oxford St is a cosy cafe, part of the Salvation Army's premises. The café is bigger than the entrance hall in my photo - it has another room of seating inside, and there's a big hall / church space (which apparently seats 600!). When I visited, the place was busy with people attending Sunday morning worship - I loved the buzzy atmosphere of smiley folks in Christmas jumpers. After the service began, I had the café pretty much to myself. I have no idea why people choose to go to the chain cafés around here rather than support a community café like this. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
